Board of Directors

 

Our Board Application is currently closed. You can fill out this Board of Directors Interest Form and we will contact you when our application opens for new members.

The Board is responsible for the operational & financial success of the market. The Board supports the MFM’s mission & values, and supports its staff, vendors, & the Montavilla community.

Board members are asked to serve a three year term, and may expect to volunteer 5-10 hours per month through participation in board meetings, market support, and market-related projects. Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month either virtually or in-person (and sometimes both).

There is no financial commitment to join the MFM Board.

Benefits of joining the MFM Board include:

  • Directly supporting the mission of the market, which is to provide all members of the Montavilla community with access to high quality, local, & healthy food.

  • Gaining experience across a variety of business functions.

  • Making connections & building relationships with MFM vendors, community members, and other MFM Board members

Experience in these areas is not required to join the MFM Board. Ideal Board candidates are passionate, curious community members who can bring their unique skills, perspectives, and interests to support the MFM. All are welcome to apply!
