Sabrina was born and raised in the California Central Valley which is one of the most agriculturally productive regions of the country.  As the daughter of a migrant farm worker, Sabrina grew up hearing stories of what life was like for her mother and grandparents. Although she has since moved from Fresno, she has never forgotten how sweet it was to have such a variety of fruits and vegetables that were easily available and affordable.

Not far from her hometown, Sabrina recently moved from Oakland, CA, where she lived for almost ten years. A foodie town, Sabrina ate her way through the Bay Area’s restaurants and is happy to give you plenty of dining-out tips if you’re interested!

Sabrina brought her enthusiasm and community love to Portland two years ago. She absolutely loves the opportunity to serve on a board that is dedicated to making local produce available to all Portland residents. A proud Montavilla resident, Sabrina currently belongs to the Oregon Bike Shop’s cyclocross team, enjoys horseback riding, needle felting, making new friends, and preparing for winter. Feel free to say hello to her when you see her at the market!
