Meet the Board: Craig Milliken
Craig moved to Portland from Hong Kong, via London, England, in 2000. A true city boy by birth and upbringing, it wasn’t until he arrived in Portland that his interest in food, food production, and farming really came to the fore.
An environmental scientist by training, Craig’s day job is in the engineering industry but with a focus on the business side of that industry. In his spare time, Craig has a love of the outdoors, food, and the vibrancy of Portland as a community.
Craig and his wife moved to the Montavilla area in 2009 and have been regular market customers since that time. At home they raise their two kids, eight chickens, and a growing vegetable garden. Craig was especially excited to be able to join the Montavilla Farmers Market Board in 2016 to help ensure the long term success of the market and support this important focal point for the community.
