Market Cancelled Sept 29 due to weather

Due to the expected severity of winds and rain on Sunday, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the market for September 29th.

From the National Weather Service Special Statement issued at 1:38 PM:

THE SECOND POTENTIALLY EVEN STRONGER STORM IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH SUNDAY AND MOVE THROUGH THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT. THIS STORM WILL ALSO HAVE TROPICAL MOISTURE WITH IT AND MAY HAVE SOME OF THE REMNANT CIRCULATION OF THE FORMER TYPHOON IN IT. THIS STORM WILL BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN TO SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. EVEN STRONGER WINDS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM…BOTH AT THE COAST AND INLAND.

This isn’t a decision we take lightly, but given the potential risks of travel and compromised safety while onsite, it was deemed necessary. We look forward to welcoming you back onsite at 10 am on Sunday, October 6th.
