Montavilla Farmers Market Events, 2008

Thanks to all the musicians and special events that made our first season such a success! This year we will have an extended season from June 8 to Oct 5th (except July 6th), every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.

We welcome all interested musicians and child-friendly entertainment to inquire by email at events@montavillamarket.org. Please check the 2008 schedule (coming soon) for available dates. We would like to book one musical group (plus occasionally one special event) per Sunday. Please check the 2007 events calendar for examples of music, demos and special events from the last season.

The Mount Tabor Ramblers July 29 2007

Event details:
1. The events tent is 10 x 10 and located in the center of the market.
2. Musicians generally play two half hour sets, between 11 am and 1 pm.
3. There is no electricity at the market. All musicians will need to play unamplified and cooking demos will need to provide their own heat source.
4. Musicians and special events are unpaid but are welcome to supply a tip jar and to sell cds.
5. All entertainers must fill out a 2008 events application (Word click here)
